| Beautiful and delicate gold pendant with seed pearls from the Tehuantepec Istmus in Oaxaca Mexico. Amazing Filigree work. This kind of work was usually done in 14 K gold and the carved leaves and flowers in 22 K. The use of different alloys of gold was used to achieve variations in color These pieces are not produced anymore and they were not produced for the tourist. They were made for the local women who wore them at important celebrations. Measures: 1-3/4" long by 1" wide. Very good vintage condition. | |||||||
