MONTEREY DRESSING TABLE WITH VANITY BENCH BOOK PIECE

Wonderful signed Monterey dressing table or desk with bench. The dresser has iron shelves on the left cabinet door and sliding drawers inside the other. Hammered iron pulls, handles and straps. The bench has a leather top with hammered brass tacks. Part of the Keyhole bedroom line. This color was known as "Old Wood" and is in original condition, never refinished. Signed on the back with the burnt brand "Monterey" and horseshoe. The table is 31 x 48 x 20 inches and the bench is 18 x 19 x 15 inches. Circa 1929-1936. Very good antique condition. Featured on page 67 of the book "Monterey" Furnishings of California's Spanish Revival by Roger Renick and Michael Trotter published by Schiffer.
