Gorgeous Mexican silver hinged clamper bracelet by Hilario Lopez. This design was created by Margot de Taxco and is known as the "Cornflower. Hilario Lopez was one of Margot's master silversmiths, and he was in charge of making the cornflower design pieces. After Margot went out of business in the early 1970's their silversmiths continued to make some of her designs with her authorization. High quality piece. Signed "HL" inside a circle that reads "Taxco Sterling", also marked "Hecho en Mexico" and Eagle 3. Excellent vintage condition. The spring is good shape and the bracelet closes tightly. Measurements: 6 1/2" inner length fully closed by 2 3/4" wide at the front. Weight: 2.9 ounces (83 grams).
