Outstanding 1970s Mexican dress by famous designer Josefa. Gorgeous all hand done blue caftan. 100% Cotton This dress has great embroidered details and beautiful multicolor satin ribbon work. Josefa started designing and selling in Tlaquepaque and Puerto Vallarta in Jalisco, Mexico in the 1970s. After a couple of years her designs were famous and she started selling at high end boutiques in Mexican resorts. Her dresses are very popular among collectors and vintage lovers because of the high quality, incredible details and colorful accents. Big blue label reads: "Josefa" in script, also "100% Cotton Made in Mexico" Size is Small to Medium Very Good Condition. |
