Stunning 1970s Mexican dress by famous Mexican designer Josefa. All hand done multicolor caftan. 100% Cotton This dress has great hand embroidered and satin ribbon work. Josefa started designing and selling in Tlaquepaque and Puerto Vallarta in Jalisco, Mexico in the 1970s. After a couple of years her designs were famous and she started selling at high end boutiques in Mexican resorts. Her dresses are very popular among collectors and vintage lovers because of the high quality, incredible details and colorful accents. Big orange label reads: "Josefa" in script, also "100% Cotton Made in Mexico" and "Fabricado por el Aguila Descalza" Size is Small to Medium Very Good Condition. |
