Anasazi Pottery Bowl St. Johns Polychrome

Fine red-slipped "Ancient ones" redware bowl.

Possibly derived from the Little Colorado Black on red wares, known as St. Johns Polychrome, Circa 1100-1200 A.D.

The interior (Wingate Style) is in black on red (red to red orange base.) The decoration starts with a circle in the center of the vessel tying the design to it. The exterior decoration is in All-white and is a clear, permanent paint.

Professionally restored. With papers of authentication.
