This original drawing in pencil Titled "Stretching Figure" by WPA Registered artist, Freeman L. Schoolcraft. It measures 17" x 11", was created in 1951 and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Freeman L. Schoolcraft WPA artist and free-lance sculptor was the protégé of Lorado Taft, he is listed in the Who Was Who of American Art, Wikipedia, U.S. New Deal Art Registry, Smithsonian Archives of American Art. Schoolcraft taught at the Art Institute of Chicago, Northwestern University, and at University of Chicago.
