| I'm pretty sure this is/was part of a double boiler, or a bain-marie (water bath en francais). This one is very large, very heavy, and has a fabulous patina. It looks wonderful whether it is filled with nuts, pinecones, fruit, or potpourri (as shown). Measuring a generous 16 inches in diameter it dates to the early 1900's. | ||
