| A vintage piece of stained glass featuring St. Hubertus, or St. Hubert, in the iconic scene where he is confronted by the talking stag. St. Hubert is the patron saint of hunters. He was called upon by the stag, which he found while hunting in a forest, to repent and lead a better life. Hubertus, a wealthy nobleman, became a priest and gave up all of his worldly goods. It is said that he watches over hunters and protects them. This is a painting on glass, from Germany and dating to the 1970-80's. It measures 12 X 8.75 inches and is in excellent condition. It has a chain for hanging and looks lovely in a window. | ||
