| This is the second of a pair of superb old original British watercolor paintings of typical English fox hunt scenes, showing fox hunters going over fences in an open landscape. These are not prints or engravings, but original paintings. They have lots of age spots, typical for works on paper, and easily seen in the photographs. These can be removed if one is so inclined; I have no problem with authentic aging, so I have left them alone. We are unable to find a signature which is a shame because the artist was very competent. Each one is housed in a painted antique oak frame that has a horseshoe ornament, and measures 15 X 17.5 inches. Original price was $775 for each painting. | ||
