The top shows 3 faces of ancestors with a strong relief of sculpture. The central part a thick dorgi with a superb patina of use surrounded by patterns of basketry. The triangular point is very original with 3 animal heads of Makara extended by hands which each grip a snake. . Old mask with sculpted mustaches depicting a flat face with a delicately open mouth. Beautiful black patina encrusted with some glue deposits. The eyebrows and mustaches are still partially covered with glossy paper, some traces of vermillion coloring. The interior shows a nice dark brown patina with some age damage. Phurbu of a very amazing volume and design showing great sculptural richness. The top shows a domed altar (H 5 cm) supported by 3 snakes , this set surmounts three beautifully carved lunar faces (H 3 cm). The massive point shows three pairs of intertwined serpents ending in a single head, each pair is separated by a protector (5 to 6 cm) standing hands joined in the gesture of ritual respect of "namasté"...
