Very unusual butter churner key, showing twin protectors in the meditation posture, sitting on their bottom with elbows leaning on their knees, their head between their hands. The rope is still attached through an iron hook. Very powerful symmetrical lines, black hard patina in some areas, whereas others shows sign of use. This is a very unusual "ghurra" from Jajarkot district (Western Nepal). Dimensions: 8 x 1 2/3 inches (20 cm X 4 cm). Age can be around 50 years. The piece is nicely mounted on an iron stand. Good condition.
