| Important Mask showing a flat area to figure the face, small nose precisely carved, heart shaped mouth showing small barely carved teeth. Very hard and heavy wood, patina of oxidized , this mask has not been intensively used. However considering the hardness of the wood and the level of it oxidation, it has signs of important age for an Himalayan mask that means for sure over 50 to 60 years. Height 31 cm , wide 26 cm. Collected from Tharu people in a Tharu district in Western Nepal. The mask is nice presented on an iron mask. | ||
