| A funny lakhe mask from Kami people from Western Nepal. Symetrical painting using red, orange and black colors, some pieces of goat skin are fixed on the forehead and the chin. The inside has been likely washed before the face was repainted. Note the protection all around the mask, made with a thick wrapping of rags. . Very good condition , obvious signs of use. Strong but light wood very good condition, age is around 50 years,. Height 10 1/2 inches (27 cm). The mask is nicely mounted on an iron stand. | ||
