| A typical original Tamang thanka from Rameschap district with Lord Buddha in the sitting position on lotus flowers, in the central part surrounded by four other deities at the bottom, eight ordinary people wearing traditional nepali dresses can be seen with Yamatanka in the middle Mineral painting on cotton cloth Maximal size of the painting only are 56 X 48 cm, whereas total size including the local cloth frame 80 X 60 cm , with a cloth protector to cover the thanka when not honored Note a 20 cm-long cut on top of Buddha head which has been roughly restored as it can be seen from the back side.
