| An usual decorated Ghurra mixing both traditional patterns such as the national bird peacock and the buffalo symbol of work ans success with the helicopter symbolizing the modern world. The top shows a stylized open house. Note also the thick encrusted black patina, indicating a good age likely very close to 50 years. This ghurra is coming from Rukkum district. Height 10 1/3 inches (26 cm), wide 2 3/4 inches 7 cm. The piece is nicely mounted on an iron stand. | ||
