| A very nice, rare and beautiful butter box, the top is carved in a single piece of wood showing a short-legged man riding a roughly carved cow. Few original samples of such boxes are known, this box is coming from bothia people from Trisuli district (central Nepal). It is likely that the inside has been cleaned, light brown patina of use, age can be around 40 to 50 years. Hard wood, diameter 3 ½ inches (9 cm), height 8 1/6 inches (22 cm). | ||
