| A very important mask figuring a realistic man face. Only the eyes are pierced throught with small round holes, old polychromia dark green black and red, the mouth is lightly smiling. This mask belongs to tribes from indian-nepal border, possibly a mask from the Ramayana theater from Rajbansi people but not sure as not typical of Rajbansi art. Important signs of age, early to mid 20th, light wood, some recent breaks can be seen on the back , height 13 3/4 inches (35 cm). The mask is presented on an iron stand. | ||
