| A strong and powerful mask figuring a human man face. Both the eyes, noose and the mouth are pierced through, the mouth. This mask belongs to Magar tribes from West Nepal. Dusty dark encrusted patina, important signs of age, early to mid 20th, very hard and strong wood, some recent breaks can be seen on the back , height 12 1/4 inches (32 cm). The mask is presented on an iron stand. | ||
