Sword slide carved from green nephrite with a crawling dragon (chilong) in high relief. Judging from the fact that one end of the slide curls under to sit level with the flat bottom of the slide, it can be determined that this was likely produced as a decorative piece/amulet and not for actual use (this came into vogue during the Song dynasty and after). There is light red cinnabar residue under the carving of the dragon...
