This is a beautiful colored etching by Shogo Okamoto (120-2001). It portrays a Japanese farm house hidden amongst a large stand of lovely early spring leafed trees. In the foreground we can see the plowed fields readied for planting. The print measures 20 ½” by 19” framed – the print itself measures 16 ¼” by 18 ½”. It is pencil signed and numbered by the artist – and is 14 of a rare small edition of 40 prints. (Okamoto’s editions usually numbered 100)...
