| These are two very nice small sake cups that fit into the smaller opening of a Hai-Dai - sake cup holder. The first one is a grainy brown glaze over a tan glaze – the balance is unglazed pottery. It measures 1 3/8” high – the top diameter is 2 3/8” and the base is 7/8” diameter. The second cup has a Bizen underglaze on the inside and exterior. On the outside there is a slanted section of an olive colored glaze. It measures 2” diameter at the top – is 1 ¼” high and the base is 7/8” diameter. Both of these date from the Taisho to early Showa period circa 1920s-40s. Both are in excellent condition. | |||||||||||||||
