| This wacky looking pottery water-dropper is in the shape of a frog or toad. The piece has a glaze of light celadon and the frog is accented with brown spots in several places Frog Warts ?? The piece measures 5 long by 3 ½ wide by 2 ½ deep. It sits on a wooden stand that measures 4 5/8 by 4 3/8 by 1 Ό thick. The figure is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restorations. The previous owner identified it as being Chinese in origin their guess is as good as mine. I would date it from the early to mid 20th century. This little fellow brings a smile to your face just looking at him. | |||||||||||||
