A sweet faceted pale green Peking glass jarlet - with areas of darker green streaks and spots. It is meant to simulate jadeite. The jarlet measures 3 3/4" high and is 2 3/4" diameter at the shoulder. We date it to the late Qing period, circa 1850-1900. It is in very good condition with some rim frits on the inner rim of the jarlet that must have occurred over time as the lid was taken on and off - and a small chip on the bottom rim of the lid.
