| A very handsome dark purple/red okimono of a shi shi balancing his front paws on a ball. The detail work is quite excellent showing every item of the piece in very close detail. The shi shi measures 8" long by 8 5/8" high by 5" thick and is in excellent condition. It is not signed or bear any potters marks. We date the piece anywhere from the late Meiji to early Showa period, circa 1900 - 1930s. | |||||||||||||||
