A fine white nephrite jade snuff bottle of compressed ovoid form with scalloped sides, the neck flaring to a concave mouth, the form supported on a raised foot with concave base, carved on one face with the immortal Liu Hai and his three legged toad expelling a plume of smoke beneath a bat, the reverse with Liu Hai above waves and beneath a bat and lingzhi fungus. Jadeite Stopper. 2.25 inches tall (without stopper). 1780-1860.
