A very fine jade finial, intricately carved in with an openwork dragon amidst clouds, the concave base of ovoid form and pierced to attach to the hat, the material of fairly even white colour with russet markings. Approximately 2.25 inches front to back, 1.8 inches side to side and 1.75 inches tall. Yuan to Early Ming Dynasty.
