An Underglaze Three-Colour Snuff Bottle With Monkeys
A porcelain snuff bottle of cylindrical form sloping at the shoulder to a narrow neck and flared mouth rim, supported on a raised foot rim with recessed base, the white glazed porcelain body decorated in underglaze blue, red and celadon with four monkeys amidst rocks and trees, bats and clouds at the shoulder, the base with a six character apocryphal Qianlong mark in seal script in underglaze blue. 2.5 inches tall. 1820-1880.
