Wonderful set of 4 brown transferware plates marked David Johnston & Co. David Johnston was of British parents who had a pottery in Bordeaux, France, and was in production from 1834-1844. He was Major of Bordeaux from 1838-1842. These plates are in excellent condition for being over 150+ years old. They measure 9" across and do have some discoloration and scratches and some loss of pattern. The center scene is Arabian with a very detailed border. A great addition to your collection!

Fabulous pair of antique Staffordshire poodle dogs with unusual vermicelli decoration. They have unusual faces with gold collars and one is slightly larger than the other idicating the male. They measure 6" high and 4" wide. There are no chips or cracks and there are no markings. A definite one of a kind!

Fabulous antique ironstone brown transferware pitcher, c. 1860. It is marked Clyde England and I am not sure if Clyde is the pottery or the pattern. The pitcher is quite large measuring 11" high and about 9" wide. It has an ornate handle and lovely embossed lines and scrolls. The pattern is gorgeous with various florals and leaves. There are no chips or cracks or repairs. A fabulous pitcher!

Wonderful and hard to find antique child's 12pc brown transferware set by Copeland dating to the late 19th C. The pattern is called Copeland Hearts and has a trailing vine of trillium or heart shaped 3 lobe flowers. THe set consists of a bottom platter and lid, 4 3.5" plates, 2 4" plates, and 4 4" bowls. All pieces are embossed with Copeland and a crown. I could find no chips or cracks and there is some fading of pattern and some discoloration. A very rare set!

Beautiful antique child's black transferware pitcher that dates to 1830's. Both sides have a pattern of a damsel with a basket and her lamb with hollyhocks. There is a nice pattern around the neck and on both sides of the spout, around the foot and down the handle. It measures 3.25" high to the highest point and about 3" wide. There is a chip on the bottom foot. A beautiful antique piece!

Wonderful antique Staffordshire figurine of a woman and a man with and English Setter dog and the woman is holding a sheep. The man has a hat and is holding an instrument. The large figurine is a pocket watch holder with a slot for a pocket watch. The figurine measures 12" high and 8" wide. There are several hairline cracks and one little knick on the man's beret. Still, in excellent condition for dating to 1850's!

Antique Victorian fairing box that dates to the 1880's made in Germany. The Germans made these fairings for the British market that were sold at the Victorian fairs, hence the name fairings. The box has a lid with a child looking at a mirror. The bottom of the box is a fireplace with 2 dragons flanking the fireplace. The box measures 4.5" high, 3" long and about 2" wide. There are no chips or cracks and most of the gold highlights have faded. A great addition to your collection!

Absolutely fabulous antique pink lustre teapot dating to the 1840's. What is so remarkable is its condition which is excellent for its age. This is a lovely antique pink lustre creamer, c. 1820. It has a border of pink lustre around the neck and down the handle and on one side are florals, butterflies, and a damsal fanning another damsal. On the other side are florals and a gentleman holding an instrument. It measures 4" high to the top of the handle and 5" long. There are no chips, there are some small tight hairline cracks, and there is fading and some discoloration. There are no markings. A wonderful piece from this era!
