Wonderful hands free magnifying glass with brass attached to a wooden stand. The glass is adjustable and adjusts up and down and left to right. It is mounted to a heavy carved wooden base. The base measures 5" by 3.5" and the glass measures 3" across. I believe it is 3X magnification. I could find nothing wrong with it!
Wonderful antique German porcelain fairing titled The Orphans with 3 bulldogs on a chair dating to the 1880's. It has the Conte & Boehme mark and is impressed 1887. The fairing measures 3.75" high and 3.25" long. There are no chips or cracks, but there is some fading of the paint. The bulldogs are so cute!
Wonderful framed under glass illustration by Hugh Thomson dated 1797 with the title The Wedding In Pink for Pears Soap. The illustrated print is gorgeous with a beautiful wedding party with guests in a church. Hugh Thomson was a prolific illustrator best known for his Jane Austin illustrations. The frame measures 13.75" by 11". The backing has been replaced with acid resistant paper and new hanging hardware. Very hard to find!
Wonderful vintage English bronze horse head and horse shoe door knocker, c. 1930. The door knocker is of heavy bronze with wonderful details in the horses head and horses shoe. The horse shoe swivels and the horse head has 2 holes one with screw and nut and one without to mount on door. A wonderful item!
Antique original beveled Barbola mirror dating to the 1920's. The mirror is unusual in that it has a spray of flowers draped over the top from left to right. There are pink roses and florals, and blue florals with greenery. There is some chipping to the paint and there are a few cracks in the gesso florals. The mirror measures 9" high and 8" across. There is some loss of silvering around the edges. It has it's own backstand. Fabulous for almost 100 years old!
Antique large brown transferware platter in the Boston pattern, c. 1880. It measures 15.5" long and 12.5" wide. There are no chips or cracks and there is some fading of the pattern. It is marked Boston. A great addition to your collection!
Vintage Royal Winton chintz creamer/pitcher in the gorgeous English Rose pattern. The pattern is a pale yellow background with pink roses and lilac florals with greenery. The creamer measures 3.5" high and 4.5" wide from end of spout to end of handle. There are no chips or cracks and there is some fading of the gold rim. It is marked Royal Winton Grimwades Made in England. A great addition to your collection!
Wonderful pair of antique Staffordshire reclining sheep, c. 1850. They have very expressive faces. Each measure 2.75" high and 3.25" long. There are no chips and one sheep has a deep hairline on the front. There is overall crazing. Very rare to find a pair!
Found in Paris, vintage french gilt ormolu beveled glass photo frame for 6" x 4" photos. It has a lovely gilt bow on the top and rests on 2 ball feet with its own backstand. The frame itself measures 8" x 4.5". It is marked Paris. Glass has some very minor scratches and knicks. This would be great for that special photo!
Found in Paris, vintage ceramic ornate gilt double photo frame. The frame has lovely details with leaves, scrolls, vines, etc. around the 2 openings under glass. The openings are 2.5" x 2". The frame itself measures 4.75" by 7.25" and has its own backstand. This would set your photos off beautifully!
Vintage Italian florentine tray in gilt with red. The tray measures 10.25" by 7.5". It has some scratches and paint loss. Found in Paris, this is a great tray!
Found in Paris this beautiful original hand painted enamel on copper by P. Bonnet MF Limoges. Pierre Bonnet worked at Limoges capital of the “Arts du Feu” for over twenty years. A former student of the Ecole des Beaux Arts, he was the receipient of many awards including the Meilleur Ouvrier de France. In 1955 he became President of the National Jury in Limoges and was awarded l’Ordre du Merite de l’Artisant Francais...
Beautiful vintage french pottery men board with hand painted florals and the word Menu. These were used by french restaurants to write on the daily menu. It has a back stand and stands alone. It measures 5.5" high and 3.25" wide. There are no chips or cracks. A wonderful piece!
Wonderful antique gilt ormolu french jewelry casket with thick, beveled glass, red tufted cushion, and photo of Lourdes which dates to the 1880's. The box measures 3" high, 3.5" long, and 2.5" wide. It has 4 sides plus the lid of very thick, beveled glass with no chips or cracks. The tufted cushion has 4 little buttons and very little wear, the gilt is mostly faded, and the lid does not close all the way. The lid has a photo of Lourdes and is marked Lourdes...
Wonderful vintage set of 3 french cafe au lait bowls. The largest is a robin egg's blue and measures 3" high and 5" across. The next largest is pale yellow and measures 2.75" high and 4.5" across. The smallest is white with a green border and red border line. It measures about 2" high and 3.5" across. It has a N9 impressed on the bottom. There are no chips or cracks, but there is some loss of paint, some discoloration, and overall crazing. These wonderful bowls date to the 1930's...
Fabulous antique child's enamelware tea set. The tea set consists of 11 pieces: The teapot with lid, the sugar bowl with lid, the creamer, 4 teacups and 4 saucers. The handle of the teapot has seams in the enamel which can be found in enamelware dating to the late 1890's-early 1900's. It is in fabulous condition with some chipping to the enamel and some minor rusting. The teapot measures 4.5" high to the top of the finial and 5.5" wide from end of spout to end of handle...
Gorgeous English sterling silver lid with beautiful cut glass ladies vanity jar hallmarked Birmingham 1901. The sterling silver repousse lid is absolutely gorgeous with floral bells, tulips, hearts, grape leaves, scrolls, and a raised center blank cartouche which could be personalized. The cut glass jar is gorgeous with a star pattern on the bottom. There are no chips or cracks or dents. It measures 3" high and 2.5" across. A beautiful addition to your collection!
