Nice daunian kyathos, composed of a single high swung handle, an ovoid body and a large rim. The decoration on the body is mostly composed of horizontal lines of various sizes in dark brown and red-purple , but also dotted zigzags and two svastikas on the side.
The handle is also decorated with geometrical patterns.

Gnathian epichysis with elaborate decorative bands including dots, a fillet, scrolling, key pattern. An ovum frieze ornates the upper and bottom part of the body.
Small embossed headers are located on each sides at the join of the handle to the spout.

Beautiful bright color and freshness of overpainting. Some grapes are worn otherwise very good condition.

Marble fragment of an Hecateion, dedicated to the godess Hecate who was a mysterious divinity linked to magic. She had the power to grant prosperity. Patron deity of magicians, she presided over crossroads in the form of a three-headed monument or three women holding hands with their backs to a central column.
The monuments which have survived are modest in size and may well have been placed in private homes.
