Condition: Very good condition.
Base reglued and small missing part restored on the back. Left hand missing.

Red figure apulian epichysis decorated with a sitted woman wearing a belted chiton, holding flowers in her right hand and a mirror in her left, enframed by palmettes. The rest of the decor is composed of rays on the neck, an ovum frieze on the flange, a palmette at the base of the handle, two small bands of laurel in added white on the body, and molded heads where the handle joins the spout.

Black figure lekythos decorated, on the cylindrical body with two horsemans, and a serie of tongues on the shoulder.

The black varnish turned orange-brown due to misfiring.

Beautiful blackware oenochoe, knurled ovoidal body, high swung handle attached to the trefoil mouth. Nice black gloss.
Blackware vases are imported from Greece since the 5th century B.C. and reproduced in Italy from the middle of the 4th century B.C. The workshops can be found in Campania, Etruria and Sicily. The productions are therefore variants of paste or varnish as clays and cooking methods used differ...

Rare bronze plaque of a feminin profile, the hair done in a bun, a few strands falling on the ears.
The bronze plaque, very fine, was worked in repoussé and details of the hair were incised.
Fine example that is usually found in clay.

Rare corinthian lekythos, ref. Payne "lekythos with angular shoulder" decorated with horizontal red and black lines. Rare shape for a corinthian production.
