CAMPANIAN BAIL-AMPHORA, 4TH CENTURY B.C.
Red-figured bail-amphora attributed by A.D. Trendall to the CA Painter, decorated on both sides with an ephebe draped in their himations. In between the figures there are two large palmettes.

A note by A.D. Trendall accompanies this piece.

Former Dr. Renée Anciaux collection, Belgium, 1970-1995.

Greek art, 4th century B.C.

Height : 10.6 inches (27,5 cm)

Condition: Very good condition. Handle and a part of the lip remade.
