A fine quality early 20th century Chinese Republic period famille-rose porcelain vase, superbly decorated with three geese in a landscape scene, amongst rockwork and colorful flowering branches, two other geese and two bees hovering above, a band of key-fret motif in over-glazed blue-enamel encircling the foot and under the top rim below which a "ruyi" pattern and beaded "curtain" overhanging around the neck, interior and underside glazed white, the base inscribed with the Qianlong seal mark in iron-red. MARK : iron-red six-character Qianlong seal mark within double-square on base.

SIZE : approximately 9" (23 cm) high.

CONDITION : perfect condition, minor production light-yellow stained around the top rim and base, and two very small production firing flaws to base only. No chips, no cracks, and no repairs.
