A superb and very fine 19th century Chinese famille-verte "wucai" porcelain sleeve vase, exquisitely decorated in 17th century Transitional / Kangxi manner with a "qilin" and phoenix in a garden setting with fencing, palm tress and rockwork, the neck painted with a band of spike pattern alternating in red and green enamels, above a smaller band of S-scrolls encircling the shoulder, interior glazed white, the base unglazed. (Wooden stand not included).
DATE : Chinese, Qing Dynasty, 19th Century or earlier.
MARK : no mark or signature.
SIZE : approximately 9 1/2" (24 cm) high.
CONDITION : in perfect condition, a small iron spot to the foot rim noted for accuracy only. No chips, no cracks, and no repairs.
