This wonderful enamel set by Donald Stannard definitely reflects the Kenneth Jay Lane influence. Wonderful gold Gilt rams heads, heavy enamel and the springy clamper style. This set is is very good condition, one condition issue inside the head of the rams. See photo as this is sold as is vintage condition. This set is a rare find, the bracelets alone pop up now and again, but with the matching necklace and earrings its a treasure. The necklace is a small choker about 16 inches, bracelet is best for a 7 inch wrist. A little bit about the designer-- Donald Stannard was Kenneth J. Lane's assistant from 1968 until 1972Donald Stannard was first mentioned in Vogue in 1972 when he started his own jewelry line after being assistant to Kenneth J Lane. He went on to become a famous designer of jewelry for Broadway shows like Evita and Hello Dolly as well as TV shows such as Dynasty. Currently Mr. Stannard only designs for the rich and famous. He discontinued his retail line in 2000
14K Gold, 1980 BB&Co signature plaque identifies this lovely Victorian styled bracelet from the Edwardian period. The same stamp is impressed on the back side of the clasp, tho it has worn away. This lovely interlocked link bracelet features a hand etched clasp with a sheild as the central element. Excellent very substantial Gold Hand made watch chain. Marked Austro Hungarian for the 4th standard which is 580 gold. The P is for the regional assay office for Pest Hungary. This mark places this chain between 1872 and 1900. 17.5 inches long and 3/8th inch wide it is a nice size. My watchmaker and jeweler told me it probably had a ladies watch as the end piece is still attached to the chain. Very nice condition for 140 years old. The Locket is 1 inch wide on the diagonal and features a small mine cut diamond. I have included photos of the interior. I think this could be worn well as a choker. Please check my listings for its companion piece a lovely gold bracelet from the same estate.

Fabulous Pre - 1920's Pools of Light Crystal necklace. Each undrilled crystal is wrapped with a repousse’ sterling bezel. The Clear Crystal Quartz possesses the property of double refraction (where images viewed through them appear upside-down and reversed) these necklaces are increasingly more difficult to find, especially in wearable condition. Pools of light jewelry was believed to have a magical and mystical effect on the wearer because of the crystal. This necklace is an ornate example of this type necklace. 18 inches long make this necklace very desirable.
Bogoff, Spear Novelty Co., Chicago, IL, During the 1940s and 1950s created very beautiful, high quality pieces like this fabulous choker. They were known for that "real look". They used heavy rhodium and hand-set rhinestones. Notice the wonderful articulated quality construction in the photo of the back of the choker. This choker is 15 inches and is in wonderful condition as shown in the photos!
