This is a curious ivory carved group of figures. The carving style is very similar to 'Jade hat finial' popular during Yuan dynasty. The ivory is dark brown toned with heavy patina. Some parts are even calcified. This might be a genuinely ancient Chinese ivory piece. My other guess is that it may be made of mammoth ivory. Records show that Chinese carvers of late Qing dynasty use mammoth ivory to fake ancient ivory pieces. So safely speaking, the date of the piece could be Yuan dynasty to late Qing dynasty.
