| This is a woodblock printed book, Kachu Sokuyo Benran , a book about armor written by Hojo Rinsai .It is dated from the Kaei period ( no specific year, but Kaei is from 1848-1853 )so please understand that we cannot guarantee the exact date it was woodblock printed . It comes as 63 pages and explains how to wear Kachu, armor from wearing piece of cloth and Menpo, ,mask, Katana, swords, different accessories,etc .There are many illustrations, so the book is easy to understand. The pages take the reader through all the stages of dressing for battle and show different specialized accessories for the samurai's utilization. The label on the cover is gone, and it has slight patina ,small holes, stains and red stamp but considering its age, it is in a great condition.
