Tetsu Sabiji Ryobu Men no Shita. Russet iron Menpo. Age: Momoyama-Early Edo period. Details: This Menpo has a russet iron finish and is very heavy and hand crafted. The interior is original and black in color. This is a rare one piece Menpo. NO RESERVE!! Remarks: This Menpo represents a fine early original work. In a time when Momoyama period Menpo are becoming increasing scarce this piece would make a fine addition to any Samurai Armor collection. |
