| This is a two overlay peking glass snuff bottle made by Suo Liu ,a famous master artist on Peking glass snuff bottle in China.It carves three people ,Mr.ZhangSheng,Ms Cui Yingying and her maid in green and white against blue base.whom from traditional opera of Yuang Dynasty titled "Xi Xiang Ji".In fact,Cui Yingying's maid is a match maker of ZhangSheng and Cui Yingying,her name is "Hong Niang" ,So all match makers have been called as "Hong Niang" in China up to now."Hong Nian" means a match maker in China.Look,From this small bottle ,you know a very nice love story and the origin of "Hong Niang "in China. The pattern is carved finely, skillfully and simple but very clean.
