Spratling "Rosewood & Silver" 6 spoon set
These William Spratling rosewood/silver 6 spoon set is circa 1941-46.Only marked with a slanted conjoined 'WS"on the spoon portion. This mark was used on his rosewood bases. All the spoons hold this hallmark. You can see on the inside of spoon the 'repoussage"marks, while the exterior is smooth. The spoon part is held on by the grooves that were carved in the wood & that were very well made.Perfect condition! They would make a nice addition to any of Spratling's other works. They measure 4 1/2 in. long & weigh on my scale,2.25 oz. collection. If you need any more pics or have questions, please contact the gallery here in Santa Fe.We ship by the next day, with no weekend action.NM residents pay 8.18% sales tax.Thank you for looking.Make sure to check out our other Spratling pieces,as well as other Mexican top silver designers!
