A fragment of brocaded silk- probably Yongzheng period
A small but wonderfull fragment of brocaded silk measuring aprox. 35x35cm. Excellent condition and colouring. It dates most likely from the Yongzheng reign which was a peak-period for many arts including textiles. The (Imperial) yellow suggests it was some kind of furnishing textile for the Forbidden City. It retains one selvage. Not mounted. Reduced in price from 1.600 euro to 900 euro.
