An agate ring probably dating from the Warring States period.
Rings of this type are found in graves and were fastened upon clothing for decoration and as a sign of status.
Dim.: diameter 77mm, thick 11mm, wide 12mm.
Notice that these sizes differ slightly from spot to spot; a good sign of it being hand made and of it's authenticity.
Some impurities and a few chips missing from the inside, probably a result of the making process.
The shape is pointed towards the outside with the edges slightly flattened.
The surface can be described as medium polished with still many tiny scratches and imperfections visible.
Inside the shape goes around in five cut steps and the surface is less polished.
