| This is a large, beautiful pale blue or teal, 19th century hand painted Demijohn. I purchased this and 2 other very similar demijohns (also listed) at auction. This demijohn is perfect for the wine lover as a decorative piece or as a lamp base and will fit perfectly into any French décor. The hand painted décor on this piece is in shades of gold with some red and brown. The painting reads “CRU” and features a very large decorative frame of acanthus leaves and other swirls and decorative embellishment. This bottle is in perfect condition.
