Found in a market just outside of Paris, the hand carved gilt wood bow ribbon is so pretty! Probably once a top ornament to a mirror. We placed it on its own stand for display in a bookcase to console table...for any room! Expected wear and a little piece of the ribbon missing on the right side. A very handsome framed antique document from England. Dated April 1865. This document shows the accounts of a Household "The Steward of the Manor Lugwawine in account with the Lord". Just one page of what must have been hundreds at one time. The framed size is 22" x 18 1/8". A wonderful alternative to a painting.
