Tres magnifique! These beautiful Gilt Wood Carved Finials from France! Circa late 1800's. A lot of the gilting has chipped off over the years, but it does not distract from the overall beauty of these wood finals. I personal prefer it with chipping.
All just ever so slightly different, the 5 large ones measure approximately 5 3/4" long, while the little one measures 2 1/2" long.
Exceptional! This pair of greyhound Iron Fire Dogs! While they can certainly be used in your fireplace, as the arms are still attached, most of my clients have them made into lamps!
