| Graceful little French Stool! Matches the pair of Chairs, also listed. Graceful gilt wood Louis XV legs. Inner springs in very nice condition. Unfortunate, faux leather upholstery w/ nail head trim can easily be replaced. The dealer told me that they, and the matching chairs~ listed, were in a old hotel in Knightsbridge, England for quite a few years, then they were moved to an auction house where they sat for 30 years. The dealer bought the lot and brought them to the antique fair where I bought them for you! So we are estimating their date to be around 1950's. Measurements: top is a scalloped rectangle 15 7/8" x 13". Stands 16 7/8" tall. Could be purchased and used with the pair of chairs or alone. I see it in the bedroom as well as the odd perch in the living room. | ||
