| Here is an incredible beautiful Zuni or Navajo brooch with gorgeous blue turquoise. Sometimes it is hard to tell if it is Zuni or Navajo since the reservation and the pueblo are so close together they tend to the same art work. No hallmark, but likely made in the 60s. Turquoise shows some interesting matrix, also known as mother stone. Turquoise stones are set into fine saw tooth bezels. If you study the image, you will agree with me that this is an exceptional piece of Native art. Brooch is 4 1/8 inches by 2 ½ inches. Weight is 1.70 oz. or 48 grams. | ||
