| Outstanding contemporary jeweler Brett W. Bastien from Santa Fe, New Mexico handcrafted this Loloma style inlaid bracelet. He is one of the few Anglo artisans to study at the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA). He studied under Famous silversmith Danny Romero, Duane Maktima and Otellie Pasaveva Loloma. He also teaches some classes at the Institute of Fine Arts in Mesa, Arizona. This contemporary heavy sterling silver inspired by a Charles Loloma bracelet is inlaid with ironwood, natural Morenci turquoise, natural Royston turquoise and natural castle dome turquoise, red coral, fossilized mastodon ivory and lapis lazuli. The bracelet is stamped with the maker’s initials, BWB, and Sterling Inside measurements end-to-end are 5 3/8 inches. Opening is 1 inch. Bracelet is 15/16 inches wide on top. Weight is 2.65 oz. or 75 grams. | ||
