| Frank Valdez a master silversmith was born in Cimarron New Mexico and raised in Taos. Frank’s parents Joe and Lorenza Valdez gave Frank, his brother Alex and sister Lorna a positive environment that nurtured self-reliance as well as creativity. Frank a Vietnam Veteran has seen many sides of life and many places in the world, but home is and always will be New Mexico. Like Taos Franks Heritage is a cultural event. Being of Spanish and Pueblo descent with a dash of Irish and Austrian makes his jewelry a true reflection of the southwest. Frank is old school, each and every one of his pieces is hand made from top to bottom and no two are ever the same. He taught both sons Robin and Joshua the art, as well as many others from the Taos Pueblo. His nephew Pablo who is now a jeweler in Colorado was also one of Frank’s students. Frank’s work is also housed in the Smithsonian Institute. Ortega’s on the Plaza in Santa Fe as well as Fire Gems and Jewel Mark have an outstanding reputation for showcasing unique and gifted artists. Frank Valdez is honored to be showcased one of them, at what are not only fine Jewelry stores, but also galleries that display some of the best creations in the world. These incredible all handcrafted sterling silver, copper and brass earrings with a three metal ball and a three metal cone is another very unique creation by Frank Valdez. Earrings are 2 ½ inches long, not including silver wire to fasten to your ears. Multi metal ball is ¾ inches in diameter. Multi metal cone is 1 1/8 inches long.
